They did not back up their work. I asked for electrical to be done on the boat and boat trailer... all they did was make sure brakes worked (one blinker was still out when returned) and they didn't fix any of the electrical in the boat. I also asked them to make sure the outboard motor was in working order. Got it back and they said it purred like a kitten. Took it out on the lake and it failed in the middle of the lake. When I got called them back to fix it, they said they serviced it like asked and told me "what do you expect... your boat is old... go buy a new one." Very unprofessional....and all this was after they had my boat for 3 full weeks.

A1 marine, they are very knowledgeable and know what they are doing, Anthony is very nice to talk to and explains things very well. I would take my boat to them rather than any other boat repair shop.

This guy seemed to know his stuff when I dropped off my boat. I had a few small things I wanted done and asked him to give it a once over. While we were looking it over at drop off he pointed out a few things that needed attention. As my boat is an 82 model year the parts aren’t always easy to find. So I figured it would take a bit of time. He had my boat two months and didn’t do any work at all. When I dropped my boat off it was clean and pristine. When I came to pick it up, because he said he just couldn’t find the parts, he was nowhere around. I go to load my boat and it is obviously filthy and covered in spider webs. He left it sitting out in the sun and elements for two months gathering as much dirt as possible. This boat has always had a cover on it. I offered to return with the cover the next day, but was told it would be inside for most of the time it was there, needless to say I won’t be returning and don’t recommend this establishment for anyone.

Anthony and his crew are fantastic. We have used them to help us with multiple issues with our Malibu Wakesetter. They do do great work, they are fast, efficient and easy to reach. Finding a reasonable and trustworthy boat mechanic who can work on a Malibu is tough but A-1 is all of the above. Highly recommend!
