  I was initially quoted 2-3 weeks out for my repairs. No problem, paid 20% down. Weeks went by with an occasional update and multiple excuses as to the delay. Finally 10 weeks later informs me that my boat was ready for pick up on a Friday and he urged me to pay via multiple apps to close the invoice out that day without offering me the opportunity to see the work for myself. When I informed the guy that I was out of town on work until middle of the next week he through a fit about needing the money. So I made arrangements with him and drove in from out of town the next day to settle up and get my boat. Unfortunately not only did he not do all that I asked he further damaged and dirty my boat. What work was done was very subpar. I informed the man what I all I wanted corrected where he replied that he has done the best he could. I came back 4 hours later just to find that he had stripped all my electronics off of my boat, disconnected the batteries and removed the fuel line. Then informed me that if I came back on his property that I would be trespassing.

  Have taken our vehicles to Preston for years now. He is a great mechanic and really honest, solid person. He attends to detail and works on issues to make them right even if it takes more than a single visit. All good shops are costly so do not go in thinking this is a shade tree operation but you really can't go wrong here.
