David hauled a small camper trailer from MA to TN for me. Great guy to meet, did a really nice job hauling our camper. I had made the rookie mistake of searching on one of those sites that runs dozens of competing brokers to your phone, text and email. I decided to punt that option and searched for people I could speak with directly. That’s when I discovered Alden Transport. I called David, described what I needed. He was informative and helpful. We talked a couple of times, agreed on price, made the necessary arrangements and — yada yada yada — David had my trailer in tow from northern Massachusetts en route to middle Tennessee. He suppled location updates and a link so that I could see his trip progress. He provided ETA and made it as promised. Offloaded from the tow and shared some about his work, equipment and experiences. Great connection, fair dealing and dependable tow. If I need anything hauled like this again David will get a call. Anyone else needing transport of this kind should absolutely reach out to him.

Dave has always done a great job transporting my boat from Long Island to Florida and back . He communicates with you along the way and delivers boat within the time frame discussed. His equipment is top notch and well taken care of.

I had a very mixed experience. Alden Marine Transport towed my 28' cc on my trailer from northern NJ to SW Florida in April 2018. As agreed 1/2 of their fee was paid in advance and the other 1/2 was paid promptly when the boat and trailer where delivered. They stated that they would be putting their commercial trailer tag on my trailer for the tow. I could not be there when they pick up the boat and trailer but this never happened. About a month after delivery and full payment we received an invoice from NJ EZ Pass for $130 in unpaid for Tolls and Fees by Alden. While Alden did attempt to resolve the issue with NJ EZ Pass, NJ EZ Pass would only accept payment from the trailer tag owner. Alden agreed to reimburse me for the Tolls and Fees. But, despite repeated request this has not happened as of Dec. 2018. Further, when the boat was delivered a part to the boat had been put on their truck, without my knowledge, has never been delivered to date. Despite repeated request Alden will not reply to phone calls/messages, text or eMails. Based upon other reviews and our initial interactions I felt David Wilkes at Alden was a man of his word. Unfortunately, it appears that this is not the case so far.

Great delivery of a 30 foot boat. He is friendly and efficient. Took great care of the boat and was on time. Also sent me multiple update photos and texts during the trip to reassure me. Highly recommend

Stopped in to see about getting trouble shooting knowledge, or see if I would have to bring it in. The guy behind the counter told me exactly what to do, and if I can't get it fixed he had the control handle in stock. My boat is a 1993 Javelin 363sf and was amazed he had the parts and knew what I had to do with out looking it up.
