Benfield Marine

Recently bought a boat off consignment from Tyler. Specifically told him I would buy the boat no matter what just tell me if anything is wrong with it. He told me the only thing he would recommend is changing the display in a couple years as it is a little glitchy. Fine with me. I drove 7 hours one way to pick up this boat he showed me all of the things(what he wanted to show me) insured me everything was great and boat worked perfectly. I paid $30,000 for this boat that I’m now 3k deep in and it’s just the beginning. Hid the cover being ripped ($2000 cover) get it on the water for the first time none of the pumps work besides the left rear. Both batteries are bad. Alternator is bad. They grounded off the heater which repeatedly blows the fuse causing the boat to reset every minute. For a service shop that cares about his people seems like he doesn’t care what he sells you. Not saying this is a bad shop or he’s a bad person just please do your due diligence as he was not honest with me. Who knows what else is going to come up but overall not a good experience whatsoever with all the time and money I’ve invested and I’m still not done

New to boating and took my boat into Benfield marine last year and Tyler was the absolute best at helping me understand the ins and outs of my boat. At Benfield marine, they definitely care about the customer and the quality of their work. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone for all of your marine needs! Thanks Tyler!!

Very happy with the quality, dependability, and exceptional knowledge Tyler has. As a first time client, he did exactly what he said was needed, and got a 20 year old boat running like it is brand new. If you need dependable service, this is the place you should call.
