Boat Magik

I had a busted fuel tank in my 99 Century and was about to sell it as scrap. I got referred to Boat Magik by a few people on Facebook so I decided I didn’t have anything to lose but some time. I loaded up and drove 126 miles to meet Greg and JR. They were some cool laid back guys and told me what they could do. JR didn’t have any problems showing me his work on other projects so I trusted them right away. 4-5 weeks later I got my boat back with a new tank that was built right next door. The work was outstanding and the price was even better. They beat the other places I checked by $2,000 easy. I would definitely recommend them no matter the distance you have to go. They even shared photos of progress through the job.

Had repair work done on my hull as well as stringers involving deck to be opened, a customized transom, deck gel coat, and engine service. They went above and beyond throughout the entire process. Communication was excellent from start to finish, with regular updates and pictures showing exactly what was being done. They also caught and helped resolve several other issues I was having along the way. The work was honest, professional, and completed well within the timeline they originally gave me. My boat never sat around collecting dust, and the quality of the work speaks for itself. I’m extremely pleased with the outcome and look forward to putting it all to the test on the water.

Wish I had taken a before pick. Greg and crew did a great job on an older boat. 1999 hull and motor. None of the popular shops wanted to touch. Found Greg and asked if he could repair a few fiberglass dings, wet sand and detail boat. Had Greg go through engine and general electrical to make sure boat was water ready. Made a few suggestions and executed the needed repairs. Up front and easy to work with. I prefer a small shop with the owner involved. Maybe off the beaten path but worth the quality of work. Worth mentioning the fare pricing more than makes up for the drive.
