I bought a used but new to me skiff from browns marine about a month ago. They were friendly and thorough! They made sure everything was right on the boat and even took me to the lake to test and make sure I was comfortable operating it. Great experience and I will definitely be back for my service work!

I took my boat to David owner of browns marine on April 4th 2025 for a new motor replacement paid him 5k down and was told it would cost 10k... i got it back on August 12th , i was told i was getting a long block from Jasper engines, I didn't get that. I got a short block from somewhere in Texas? I was told by David after two months that they sent wrong motor did I know anyone that needed a motor he had to sell it and find a new source 🤔 ..then he told me that it was the right motor, that' he never took it out of the crate??? Then he said it's had wrong crank shaft that he was taking old crank from my old motor,and using my heads and pistons,having them sent to a machine shop to be reworked...and in the weeks to follow, every day there was something different wrong with my boat,I had to replace anything and everything he could come up with...when I finally got my Boat back it didn't run on water, i took it bacķ and he found new repairs, and billed me 2k more...my boat is a cobalt with a 7..4 motor that had a rpm range 4600 to 5000 rpm...it now does 4000 max rpm,,,also he left it outside uncovered for 4 months damaging my interior, its white and has greasy finger prints all over didn't have decency to to cover while working on it...I would take my business anywhere but there...you have been warned .

From the moment we walked in until we pulled out of the parking lot - we were treated with kindness and great care from the staff. Highly recommend!
