California Boat Services Inc.

Jose at California Boat Services is a superb mechanic and provides exceptional service! Over the last couple of years, we’ve been working to revive our 20-year-old deck boat after it sat for five years in our driveway. We found a shop that made some real progress on the engine, but the boat still wasn’t performing well. We connected with Jose just 10 days before our annual week-long trip to the lake. Jose moved quickly to look at the whole boat, not just the engine. He spotted things our prior mechanic had missed and got the boat back to us in just a few days. His comprehensive view, quality work, quick service and reasonable pricing were awesome. On our vacation, the boat ran like new!

California Boat Services (Jose) did a fantastic job once again on my 22ft Center Console. This is my second time using them and I am more than happy with the work that was done. I needed a new steering cable, steering arm and full tune up and Jose and his crew were superb. Always kept me in the loop via text, pictures and phone calls. Most recently they installed new seat pedestals which proved to be more of a challenge due to location of fuel tank in the hull. Jose pulled it off with custom pedestals. He and his team will be the only ones I turn to.

Jose saved the day!!! Our boat wouldn't start on Saturday when we had family and friends in town for the weekend. I figured there would be no boating for the weekend, but my wife took a chance and called this company. Jose drove from LA to Long Beach almost immediately. He had our boat fixed in less than 30 minutes and only charged $285. Jose is my new mechanic! I highly recommend using these guys! Thank you!!
