Chop’s Mobile Detailing

I had Chop come out to detail a new-to-me car that I had just purchased about a month ago. It was already clean, but I told him I didn’t think the dealer had done a great job with the detail so I wanted to make sure it was done right. There were a couple of stains on the front seat that were particular areas of concern, but I expected the whole car to be detailed as I was quoted and charged $160 for a full interior and shampooing. Chop was here for about 40 minutes total, which I found suspicious for an entire interior clean even on a car that wasn’t overly dirty. Immediately when I got in my car, I could tell that a full detail was not done. The center console was never opened, as there was a big sticky spot that would have been obviously visible if it had. There were crumbs and sticky spots in the leather around the PRNDL. You could tell nothing was done with the cup holders because they just weren’t quite spotless. These things annoyed me a bit since I had paid for a full interior clean, but they’re ultimately small things I could do myself in a matter of minutes so I left it. It wasn’t until today that I was putting something in my back seat for the very first time (no kids, no pets, no back seat passengers ever so no one has been in the back seat since I got it) that I noticed a very large and obvious stain on the front of the seat. This has me really disappointed because it’s now clear to me that Chop took advantage of the fact that the car was already mostly clean and just did a few surface things but did not make any effort to actually detail my car. For $160, I feel like all I really got was shampooing of my front 2 seats at this point, which is a ripoff IMHO.

Today I had my interior detailed and my headlights restored on my 2015 X3. Chops came out and did an awesome job on my vehicle. Booking online was super easy and he texted me that he was enroute on the day of the appointment, and the app at the end is very easy to make a payment. 100% recommend.
