I want to give a big shoutout to Mark at Defensive Coatings. A good Buddy of mine and super cool personality. He’s a very down to earth man, very generous, and has a big heart. I’ve seen nothing but great work come from out of his shop. Literally watched him build this thing from the ground up. The workmanship definitely shows throughout his catalog. From the stippling, laser engraving, some custom one off pieces with 3D printing, and these wonderful cerakote jobs he’s able to create. I’ve had a few pistols and miscellaneous pieces I’ve had him work on, and everyting so far has blown my mind with the outstanding creativity. I’ve seen many other companies who have major followings and internet claim to fame who haven’t even created things of Defensive Coatings. Not to mention how well the coating holds up. I personally have several guns, just from racking, re-holstering, slight bumps or drops and haven’t gotten one single crazy imperfection. I’ve also had cerakote jobs that others have done and just holding the gun with my wild high grip. The cerakote have came off to bare metal and I’ve taken it to Mark and let him fix other cerakoters terrible jobs. Goes to show you the quality in his work. Don’t get me started on the turn around time. You can’t drop anything off and blink cause it’ll be done before you know it. All in all, I’m super proud of Mark and his quality work. Keep up the great work brother and I pray Defensive Coatings becomes even bigger then what you can imagine. Oh and finish that truck so we can do a photo shoot.

Mark does a great job with his coatings. Pricing is more than fair and turnaround is good. He is easy to work with for your projects. He also does FFL transfers as well. Highly recommended

Mark is very talented at stenciling and cerakote. Great stippling and engraving too. They have cerakoted multiple items for me in a short period of time and I’ll be coming back for more to be done soon. Thank you.

Defensive coating is in my opinion the absolute best in the business. Mark will take on a project and make it come to life! There is nothing that is out of reach if you can think it he can make it. The quality of his work/art is top notch. He is also an amazing person to do business with and really takes the time to and listens to you to make sure you get exactly what you want! I will be a forever customer thank you defensive coating!!
