This was my first time flying through this airport and I came away really impressed. The entire terminal felt modern, bright, and exceptionally clean. Even with how busy it was, everything seemed organized and easy to navigate, which made the travel experience feel much less stressful. One of my favorite surprises was coming across a live piano performance. It added such a calming atmosphere and made the airport feel more welcoming than your typical travel hub. I even stopped to grab a few videos because it was such a cool touch. Little details like that really make an airport memorable. The train system was another highlight. It was fast, efficient, and honestly fun to ride. Watching it glide between terminals made getting around simple, and it added to the airport’s modern feel. You can tell a lot of thought went into moving passengers efficiently without making the airport feel chaotic. Between the cleanliness, updated design, convenient transportation, and thoughtful touches like the live music, this airport left a great first impression. I actually found myself enjoying the experience instead of just rushing to my gate. I wouldn’t hesitate to fly through here again.

DTW is my favorite airport with Delta leading at Terminal McNamara. Other airlines not related to Delta use the ither smaller terminal. For McNamara terminal, it is organized, well lighted, well air circulation, clear signs, plenty of restroom, charge station, drink station, chair and an overhead train for all A gates. Very efficient operation, with TSA lineobing quickly. Not much hassell with transfers. The colorful tunnel is great.

The most beautiful, clean, and interesting airport I've ever been to. I was amazed from the moment we started walking to our connecting flight. The architecture, attention to detail, countless stores, and the metro inside the airport make the whole experience incredible. Everything is well organized and impressive. Congratulations on such a brilliant airport!

The airport it's self was surprisingly easy to find where you were your going. If you have any questions there are employees all around walking the halls to ask. If I was looking like I had no idea where I was going someone always stopped and asked if I needed help. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The halls were clean of garbage and the floors were very clean. The bathrooms were extremely clean for public restrooms, no smears on the mirrors or paper towels all over the garage and counter. TSA was very helpful and extremely patient with my blind father and my niece in a wheelchair. They were professional yet friendly and non judgemental.

The Detroit airport is relatively easy to get around. It has many food options available inside and outside of the terminals. Lots of local spots, which is nice. Bag check was efficient and the airport workers were helpful. It was also relatively easy to do passenger pick up and drop off.
