This past Monday, I operated out of the Fontainebleau FBO at Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL), and once again, it exceeded expectations. The morning was rainy, and the entire ramp was covered in water. Since it was a quiet day with no inbound traffic expected, I asked the FBO staff if they could move the aircraft under the canopy—and without hesitation, they kindly assisted. Thanks to their help, my passengers boarded without being exposed to the rain. What truly sets Fontainebleau apart is its team. The staff is outstanding—professional, courteous, genuinely friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. That kind of support makes all the difference in a crew’s day. The facilities are top-notch as well: sleek, modern design, spacious interiors, dedicated meeting rooms, a conference room, a well-equipped pilot lounge, and quiet rooms where you can rest between legs. I’ve been operating at FLL for over two years and have visited all the other FBOs on the field. Without a doubt, Fontainebleau is the best. I recommend it 100%, especially for fellow crews looking for excellent service and a comfortable experience.

Below average FBO. Can't even get inside without someone buzzing you IN from the already secured ramp area. Sometimes you have to wait for 20 minutes when it's late at night just to get inside. Horrible. Also the building is not very welcoming for passengers. Cold and uninviting. Same for their other locations. The employees that work the counter are great ..but the management and owners need a serious reality check. I would avoid this place. When I'm forced to come here I take the minimum fuel required. I would fuel higher and give them move sales if they had their act together.
