I was looking for some help on an STC for a jet. I had contacted the FAA and they suggested talking to Game Composites, since it's located near me. I had not heard of Game Composites, but I schedule an appointment to talk with them. The representative, with which, I had scheduled an appointment was late. This gave me a chance to look around the showroom and find out the specs on the Gamebird. The Gamebird is not a very impressive airplane. It's basically rehabbed RV 2 technology which is 30 years old. In fact, they claim it will do 200 knots. The RV 2 will do 200 knots with 200 hp, which is 103 less horsepower than the Gamebird has. Plus being a two-seater, it's not very appealing to me. I built a Velocity 25 years ago, which is a four seater, and it would do a 190 knots on 200 horsepower. I'm interested in getting involved with new technology not past technology.

We have worked closely with Game Composites and they are awesome! Very professional, and just overall nice people to work with. Sugarbear Express RV highly recommends them!

Game Composites is doing it right. From their emphasis on safety and quality, to their quest for performance, the GB1 Gamebird sets a new standard for aerobatic capability, speed, utility, and fun.
