  I am writing this on behalf of my parents, Troy and Tina. First, Mike (the salesman) was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely a pleasure to work with. He took the time to listen to what my parents were looking for and helped them find their dream pontoon. Second, Jamie in finance went above and beyond to help secure the boat for them. She was friendly, professional, and explained every step of the buying process clearly. She stayed in constant communication throughout the process, making everything easy and stress-free so they could get their boat home and out on the water as quickly as possible. Overall, my parents had an outstanding experience and would highly recommend Gone Fishin’ to anyone looking for a boat and exceptional customer service.

  Absolutely terrible experience. As a cross-country boat transporter who works with dealerships across the United States every week, this was by far one of the most difficult and unprofessional dealerships I’ve dealt with. The communication was awful from start to finish. They demanded a Bill of Lading, which I attempted to send three separate times. Every time it was rejected, yet nobody could take 30 seconds to provide an example of what they actually wanted. If you’re going to require specific paperwork, at least be competent enough to explain your requirements. I also tried working with them on pickup timing so their customer—who spent a significant amount of money on a new boat—could receive it as quickly as possible. There was absolutely no willingness to work together or find a solution. My experience with Mark was that once the boat was sold, there was very little interest in helping move the process along. The support after the sale was extremely disappointing. The interaction I had with the front office, particularly with Faith, was one of the least professional customer service experiences I’ve had. Communication came across as dismissive and unhelpful instead of working toward a solution. I’ve transported boats for dealerships ranging from small family businesses to large national companies, and I’ve never had this much unnecessary difficulty over standard transport paperwork. Instead of partnering with the transporter to take care of the customer, they created obstacle after obstacle. I won’t be hauling for this dealership again, and based on my experience, I can’t recommend doing business with them. There are plenty of dealerships that value their customers and treat transport companies like professional partners instead of creating unnecessary headaches.
