Gull Lake Marine Grand Rapids

I have lots to say about this place. I originally bought a whaler from the in 2018. There is no better boat than a whaler. Fast forward five years, 2023, and an upgraded boat. I went in for service and was happy with about half the service I received. Blake was great and kept me updated along the way. However, there were issues with what I received. Fast forward button to December 2024. Courtney made things right and made me a customer again. Then in August of 2025, I left my career in Corrections after 18 years and became a service advisor for Gull Lake Marine, Coopersville. I have been treated better than expected and enjoy walking through the door everyday. I am thankful beyond words. I cannot think of a better review than from someone who once had a negative experience and then goes to work for that same company. Great supers, great techs, and most of all, awesome advisors.

I really can't even explain into words the experience you will get shopping here. You will get drug through a week long trade in process then they will send you to a medallion bank that has a one star rating because they say you won't find financing anywhere else. With perfect credit the interest rate will be through the roof and they will charge a bunch of random fees upwards of 600 dollars. Then the boat they sell you will have a lot of things wrong with it that you did know about but they are going to " Fix it ". Oh yeah we will over night the parts and come pick the boat up for you next week and bring it back fixed in a couple days no problem. Austin the salesman will tell you he is working for you to get things going but that is farthest from the truth. After you sign the paperwork Austin will disappear then they tell you that they can come get it but you won't have it back for a couple of weeks at least. It is lie after lie after lie with these people. Did I tell you the boat wasn't even on the trailer right and they had to jack it up in the parking lot to put it on properly. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE AND DO NOT TAKE YOUR BOAT TO GET SERVICED you will most definitely regret it. In the odd chance you do buy from them don't expect to test drive because that is not normal in the boat world apparently.
