Vey disappointed. Heard a lot of good but today that all changed. Brought in a 1979 evinrude 4 hp engine. Asked to replace fuel pump. I could start the engine here with 50:1 fuel injected into carb. No fuel out of fuel pump. Today I picked it up and the bill was for $306.00. Engine would not pull over. They had Pulled it over a few times and unspring the recoil. Handed me back my spark plugs and hood bolts in my hand.

Great customer service, This summer, I purchased a galvanized utility trailer a very competitive price. A few days later I then realized that the trailer was really too big for me. I found the 6.5' X 12' trailer felt too wide (for me) for the road.They worked with me to get the trailer of the next size down a 5.5' X 11' which matched my trucks width much better. I am much happier with the smaller trailer it is just not as wide and is much easier to drive around on the road and stay in my lane. Unfortunately it probably cost them money too be so accommodating. Since I purchased the first trailer, it technically became a used trailer, when they go to sell it again. I am grateful for the flexibility they granted me and I intend to do any future boat or trailer related purchases at Haggetts. Also the folks there are also dog friendly and gave my dog Missy, spring water they bring from home so my dog did not have to drink chlorinated city tap water. SW

They were there when the old magic was written. If you have questions about older Johnson and Evinrude products, they always have an answer, and I've found they usually have the parts, NOS, cheaper than online. Not the right place for newer engines, but great for keeping the old warhorses in operation. Pardon the C.S. Lewis reference...
