Had a good time at the air show at the Leesburg Executive Airport. Stunt planes and wing walker were so cool.

This GA airport’s a star! Rock-star service from friendly staff makes landing a breeze 🛩️. Spacious terminal, pilot’s lounge, & free two-night stay offset high fuel costs 🚀. Part-time tower & snack-only food are minor quirks. A top-notch small airport experience!

Airshow 2020 small and intimate. Flights at $89

Fairly secure airport. Clean and well maintained. Many private jets lad here on a daily basis. Insufficient green space around the airport (height or width) to block the sounds made by the bigger jets or the older smaller planes. Some of the surrounding buildings push the sound back, but also while in one of those buildings I know when a plane takes off or lands, though watching planes take off or land is interesting.

Perhaps something just under 5 stars might be more accurate, but alas, that's not an option. Anyhow, I've watched this fine little FBO go through a lot of changes over the past 20+ years and while not the top 1% / cream of the crop for executive airports designed to handle the heaviest of heavy metal aircraft, the details lacking are purely icing on the cake in my mind. Excellent, all around, from runway length, to staffing, to service and amenities.
