  I contacted Legacy Auto Spa specifically about a rotor/brake dust issue and sent photos before scheduling. The entire reason for the appointment was the condition shown in those photos. After reviewing the photos, I was told the service would be priced the same as an exterior wash with the wheels included. I specifically asked whether all four rotors would be addressed, followed up about rotor cleaning, and asked whether the front wheels would need to be removed to thoroughly clean the rotor vents. I was told that with the proper products the wheels would not need to come off. Because I am not a car expert (though I have a general baseline understanding), I originally contacted the shop to determine what could realistically be addressed. Based on our conversations, I relied on the expertise I was being given and understood that the rotor issue I originally reached out about could be addressed. After the service, the rotor condition that prompted the appointment remained. When I raised my concerns, the explanation shifted to discussions about wheel cleaning, calipers, tire shine, and exterior detailing. However, those were never the reason I made the appointment. And his messages appears that he believes he was going “above and beyond” on things that I did not request nor need. The appointment was specifically about the rotor issue shown in the photos I provided before booking. When this was pointed out, I sent screenshots of our earlier messages showing the repeated discussions about rotors, rotor cleaning, and rotor vents. Despite those messages, I was still told that the service was something different from what I understood it to be when I booked the appointment. I was not asking for a full refund. I acknowledged that time had been spent and only requested a partial refund because the issue I scheduled the appointment for was not resolved.   I own a 2006 Porsche 911 in exceptionally good condition for its age that I wanted ceramic coated to preserve its finish and make it easier to care for. I chose Shane to do it and I haven’t regretted it. He convinced me not to cut any corners so I gave him the go ahead to detail the car inside and out including the frunk and engine compartment in addition to paint correction and ceramic coating. He even touched up a small scratch that’s been bothering me for years. When complete, it looked like a new car off the showroom floor. Thanks Shane for a first class job! Expensive but worth the cost.
