Charlie and his team have been great to work with during the construction of our new home on Lake Hickory! We contacted Charlie initially regarding the clearing of our lot, installing riprap and building of our new boat house. Charlie got us a quote quickly and worked with us to build a boat house that we couldn’t be happier with! He even installed a jet ski lift for us just recently. He is knowledgeable and very professional in everything that he does. He never had an issue meeting up with us at our property in the short time frames that we were visiting from out of state. Charlies team also concreted and stain our driveway and it looks great! We would highly recommend Marine Construction for your next project! John and Sharon Hines

Charlie and his team made the dock building process easy. Having someone we can trust to do the job right gives us great peace of mind. They have gone above and beyond in accommodating our requests.

Marine Construction/Charlie Washburn did a great job securing my lake wall with about 20 tons of stone. The barge crew and machine operators are very skilled to do this unique work. I highly recommend them to all lake front home owners

Marine Construction recently finished replacing our rotted wooden seawall with a corrugated vinyl system. We chose vinyl because today's pressure treated wood doesn't have the longevity as that of yesteryear. Instead of taking the easy approach, Marine Construction completely removed the old wall and anchors. The new wall, which uses interlocking pieces, was installed along with new anchors. Additional rock was brought in for both the earth and water side and topsoil added to the top of the wall. It was then seeded and straw spread. The workmanship was first rate, the men easy to work with, and the end result exceeded our expectations. In addition, who can argue with a 50 year material warranty.

This crew did excellent work across a number of projects at Lake James to help us recover from Hurricane Helene (reseating our dock on new pilings, removing debris, repairing our shoreline rip-rap, etc). Their people were courteous and professional and communicated very effectively with us throughout the process. We highly recommend their work.
