I had the pleasure of working with Kevin at Marine Worx twice! He winterized my 1986 sylvan offshore last October and recently did a whole spring tune up on my boat this May (changed plugs, distributor cap, and went over everything with a fine tooth comb ), made my boat purr like a kitten for 5 hours (it ran beautifully last weekend on the Lake Erie trolling for walleye out of Wildwood to get a two man limit), installed a battery charger, and was very professional/easy to work with. My boat ran beautifully and I’m ecstatic. I’d definitely recommend going to see Kevin at Marine Worx! 12/10 👍🏻

Not recommended, sounded promising in the beginning. Kevin told me he could do the work.Well when months went by and hadn't heard anything I became concerned. Communication was horrible. Phone wouldn't take messages and nobody picks up the phone. Had to go to the sheriff's department to make a complaint to retrieve my property.

Called Kevin to have my 150hp Johnson outboard looked at. No other mechanic wanted anything to do with it. Drove an hour just for him to look at it and see what was going on with it. He stayed open past his hours for me and then gave me a time period on the repair. Finished it a week early. When I took it to the lake it wasn’t running right. It ran great out of the lake but in the water it was sputtering. Called him and I took it back to him to figure out the issue. He found the fuel pump was bad too. Only charged me at cost of the pump and gasket. Changed that and worked great. He’s blunt and has been doing it a long time. That’s what makes a good mechanic. I’ll be doing business with. Doesn’t give you the run around.

Worked on my boat 4 9 Months and still he will Not make things right. He blames Other people although he is the one who stated from scratch by rebuilding a new motor and putting It in. It leaks oil and Has a hard time idling. Had to give it back to him once for a Pinched gasket and I get it back with loose bolts and missing bolt. He will not make it right . Told Me Never to call again , but of course he got His $11,000.00, so y would he call back. His personal habbits are effecting him. Do not got to this place. You have been warned

Kevin does a first class job, very honest. He most recently diagnosed and repaired a problem I had with my 200hp Yamaha on my Center Console quickly at a very fair price. They have worked on several of my boats and jet ski's over the years and has done a great job.
