Literally the worst experience I've ever had with a marine repair shop. I brought my Xpress boat to Mike's Marine for a simple transducer replacement. When I picked up the boat, I immediately noticed multiple toggle switches had been broken. To make matters worse, one of Mike's employees then tried to charge me an additional $300 in labor to replace a single toggle switch that wasn't damaged before they worked on the boat. After getting the boat home, I discovered an even bigger issue. Power was still running to the toggle panel, so I turned my Perko battery switch to the OFF position. Despite the battery switch being OFF, the motor would still crank and all electronics remained powered. This was never an issue before the boat was brought in for service. When I called Mike's Marine to explain the problem, their response was, "You can bring it back, but it'll be more money—that's your call." There was no concern, no accountability, and absolutely no customer service. The entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. Since their lead mechanic left, this place has gone completely downhill. Poor workmanship, poor communication, and no willingness to stand behind their work. I would strongly recommend taking your boat somewhere else.

I purchased a set of new switches under the advice of Mike’s “Professionals”. Upon further review, the switches were the wrong type needed. When I returned the switches this is the exact response I was given “we sold you the closest thing based on what we had”. INCREDIBLE.

Working on the water with large ships, ports and facilities, it has become so important to our family to have a service that can keep our boat, outboard and trailer in top condition. Mike's Marine is absolutely the best in keeping our family safe and having fun on the water. The Broussard location is very convenient. The office and service manager have become friends. They know the boat, and they have really qualified and certified service specialists. In this past month, the quickly and professionally serviced the outboard, checked the trailer, trailer lights, wheels and axles, and updated the connections to the battery that power the center console, trolling motor and baitwell. IMPORTANTLY, they saw that the control cables to the outboard's throttle and gear shifter needed changing out (due to corrosion). This was a very important item, to avoid our losing control of the engine while on the water. I am the person that keeps the boat and outboard as long as it runs well and keeps our family safe, and allows us to go where we want and enjoy the water. With this last trip over Father's Day to Lake Catherine, Louisiana...both my wife and daughter remarked how quietly the engine ran, and how smooth the boat accelerated onto step and ran across the water over the weekend....this about about a boat that is almost 20 years old. Mike's Marine is the number one place that I would recommend to anyone for great service, great people and ensuring a thoroughly good (and safe) time on the water. Thank you to Mike's.

I've always been familiar with Mike's Marine, but never dealt with them until now. I brought my boat to another dealership for service, and was advised 2 weeks out. Then I was advised 6 weeks out. So I called Mike's Marine, picked up my boat and dropped it off on June 28th. I received a call this morning July 1st, that my motor was being worked on. Already! Service, Service Service! I now have a place to bring my boat and get what it needs. It's Mike's Marine in Broussard Louisiana!!

First experience with Mike’s Marine is about a year and a half ago wanted to swap motors on a boat all went well according to their plan on time very professional and friendly people love their work, ethics and honesty and decent cost of Repairs and Services.
