I'm the Site Manager at Epic Flight Academy in Provo, UT. We opened up our locations at Provo airport in November and have been using Peak Elevated for local maintenance ever since. In my personal experience with Peak Elevated, I have nothing but good things to say. From an occasional flap overspeed to 100 hour inspections, Peak Elevated has gotten us in quickly, performed inspections in a timely manner, and gotten us back in the air safely. Big thanks to Tim, Chad, and the team for their good work.

Had an airplane annual and they were easy to work with and were very personable with how me. Peak Elevated was very responsive when it came to communication and problem solving things that needed fixing. Would definitely take my airplane back to them for maintenance.

Annual cost around $11k. Next day after getting it back I found the fuel filter bowl hadn’t been reinstalled well after being inspected as part of the annual. Leaking fuel everywhere. Lost gallons of fuel while in the air. Took it to an A&P in Spanish fork who redid the seal in 30 minutes. No new parts just labor. No more leaks. I’m just not impressed with the low quality of work from peak elevated. You shouldn’t make those mistakes, especially for $11G and on airplanes.

Unsafe practices by Doug. He doesn’t actually inspect aircraft and fails to update logbooks within compliance. He claims to repair issues but the problem proceeds to continue after I leave Doug’s shop. Spoke with another A&P on the field and was informed it’s widely known he doesn’t do work within compliance. Very sad to know peoples lives are in his hands and he doesn’t take pride or ownership to keep people safe.

If you need something pencil whipped Doug keck is your guy to go to but if you want to a safe aircraft to fly I would try and stay away from anything that has his name attached to it. Besides Doug, Jared and the rest of his team at PEA seem to be solid, straight up people and safety seems to be there number one concern and will go above and beyond to make the customer happy and feel at ease with the aircraft they are flying.
