If you're looking to get any hull or gel coat work completed on your boat, I would skip this place. I brought it for several scratches with the main one being about 10 inches in length. After 3 times picking the boat up and dropping it off the scratch still showed in the gel and I decided I was done dealing with this place. The owner actually told me and I quote "it's not going to be perfect." I'm sure they are fine with engine repair/maintenance but certainly not hull work.

This place is great! My kids are thrilled that they were able to get our boat back on the water very quickly. The service is friendly and knowledgeable, and they did quality work. Rod took the time to make sure I knew what to do to make sure our boat kept running great for years to come. I will definitely be using them in the future. l can't thank you guys enough for taking great care of my boat.

I appreciate the workers here. They all seem to do a good job and like good people. What I do not like about this place is the ridiculous price gouging. I understand it’s a specialized field, but their prices have gotten out of hand over the last few years. Other local shops like Simmons will price them out of business here shortly if they do not change what they’re doing.

I highly recommend Rod, and PLX Marine Service! Rod rebuilt my motor when the guy I used to use didn't winterize my boat and I ended up with a cracked block and a moldy interior from being left uncovered all winter and early spring. As you can imagine, that's a large job and requires a lot of communication, especially when I was arguing with insurance to get it covered. Rod worked with me the whole time, he was easy to communicate with, and he did an awesome job. The boat was beautiful when I got it back, and it runs great. He is incredibly knowledgable, and you can tell he takes pride in what he does. It's the way a business should be run. I won't go anywhere else.
