Shield By Design

This was my 3rd vehicle done by Houston and his team. Did track pack PPF, ceramic coating and window tint. They do incredible work and Houston will always answer any questions throughout the process. The guys really focus on every detail to make sure every car/truck is treated the same. It's 100% worth your time and money!

This is our 3 vehicle to have Shield by Design in Carrollton apply PPF and they never disappoint! This year we did my Lexus and our Corvette. Houston is amazing and his crew rocks! I highly, highly recommend them.

RUN FOR THE HILLS! Houston and his wife are scam artist who hide behind a slimy social media presence. PROOF IN THE PICS Was referred to shield by design by boardwalk ferrari for a wrap. I’ve wrapped 7 cars before working with shield by design so I am not new to this. Called and was told the wrap would be 3-5 business days(LIE)and the use Ferrari techs to disassemble and reassemble the car.(LIE)They ended up keeping my car for over 25 days in total. (See txt) Stripped my original ppf which I asked to keep and wrap vinyl over it. The actual wrap was TRASH looked as if a child did the work, codes in the dash, parking sensors not working, camera problems, wing not wrapped, key holes covered up, wrap was hanging out of corners like an unwrapped present. I received the car and was so disappointed I took it by Ferrari boardwalk to verify my concerns and they said they’ve known this company for 20+ years and have never seen such poor quality work and suggested I ask for it to be removed and a refund. I took the car back and just asked for it to be stripped and a refund but they refused to refund me over $9k and then begged for a chance to “make it right”. I asked multiple times as you’ll see in txt for a refund and just take it off and they refused repeatedly. On their attempt to “make it right” they said they found why they were having issues it was wiring to the cameras they had damaged. (Houston says in the txt) apparently when they fixed it they just wrapped it with electrical tape and called it complete. Well that led to major issues with them damaging the camera system in the vehicle as you can see in the txts and photos below. Now within 60 days of them finally finishing, the entire camera system is not functioning and boardwalk Ferrari suggested legal action against them. Houston and his wife write in the actual txt to me there is issues with the wiring and camera they can’t repair and the Ferrari tech said they wrapped it up with electrical tape. Absolutely regr
