I wanted to give Ships Ahoy a fair opportunity before writing this review because all of my direct interactions with them were friendly and they were generally quick to respond through Facebook Messenger. Unfortunately, the overall experience was extremely frustrating and ultimately resulted in me taking my business elsewhere. In April, I had a local marina bottom-paint my boat and asked about having some additional work completed, including new flooring and fabrication of a replacement door. The marina uses Ships Ahoy for this type of work and provided me with what I thought was an excellent estimate. I authorized the door work and was told it would take approximately two weeks. After about three weeks, the work still had not been completed, so I contacted the marina. They told me they would reach out to Ships Ahoy. Another three weeks passed with nothing. When I contacted the marina again, they actually believed the work had already been completed and provided me with Ships Ahoy’s contact information. I then spent approximately a week calling and leaving messages without receiving a response. On June 23, I finally contacted Ships Ahoy through Facebook Messenger regarding the door installation and also asked for another estimate for flooring. To their credit, they responded the same day. On July 1, I reached out again asking for an update. They asked if I would be at the boat on Friday, July 3. I responded that I would be there. Unfortunately, no one showed up. On July 8, I contacted them again for an update. They responded quickly and asked for my slip number, which I provided. By August 13, I still had no resolution, so I reached out again asking what was going on. I was told that an estimate had supposedly been emailed to me in July. I never received it. I checked my inbox, junk folder, and everything else. They asked for my email address again, which I provided. I also called the office, left my email address and phone number, and specifically asked for

Michelle and her team were amazing to work with. We bought a 20 year old boat that was neglected for some time and they brought her back to life and made her look amazing. A full detail and ShipsDeck were EXACTLY what Nauti-Times needed!!! We had friends over to see the boat for the first time and the pride we had in showing her off couldn’t be measured!! The pics don’t do it justice!
