We're new to Stormy's and have several great experiences with them, especially Stormy and Jessie, they've treated us like lifetime customers each time we've spoken with them, in person or on the phone. Great place with great people. :) They've earned customers for life. :)

Employees were very rude and unprofessional to pedestrians at the Madison Lake Boat landing. I understand that they have a job to do but they should not treat pedestrians with disrespect just because they feel that person is taking "too long". Ii was loading my kayak when I had noticed their trucks drive up. I had already planned on getting two ratchet on instead of four and moving as quickly as possible to get out of their way when one of the workmen gave me attitude to "move quicker because some of us would like to go home" I told one of the other workers to ask his coworker to be a bit more polite to pedestrians then he said I was the problem because "I had two ratchets on and I should be more considerate. This is a boat landing not somewhere to ratchet your kayak" I am a very kind and understanding individual but these workers were unwilling to listen to reason. I didn't have my ratchets on, rather, I only had the straps pulled over. They had not been waiting more than five minutes but made it seem like I was the reason they were running behind. Be polite is all I ask. I dont care how hard your job is, how much you hate your life, or the assumptions you make about me as an individual. I tried to hurry for you as soon as I saw you and I was treated like trash just because "I" was a minor inconvenience. (I don't think I was the problem but one of the last straws on the camel's back.) I try not to make negitive reviews but this interaction truly soiled the rest of my day and for some reason I cannot get over the way I was treated. I'm sure they just had rough day.

I am not doubting the quality of work that they do here. I brought my snowmobile in for carb clean up, and was told they would call if there was something more that needed to be done. Well, a week later I had to call them to see if it was even done. There was no communication about if my snowmobile was ready or not, but it was. Then, I was told everything that was wrong and was told it had all been replaced and given a price that was about 4 times as much as I was told before. No one ever called me to explain what needed to be done. This is not ok. If they would have called to update me on what was going on, sure I would have had them fix it. But they never called and I was not expecting to pay this much. Yes, it appears they did the work they said they did. But, they have lost my service as they do not seem honest and have no communication. If they did this to me, I'm sure it's been done to other people. Will not be returning here.
