Edd and his team are amazing! After purchasing a plane back in June 2025, I asked a handful of fellow Pilot/friends who they recommended for maintenance and Edd With Switlick Aviation Was everyone’s top choice and now I see why. I owned heavy trucks and equipment the past 20 years. I know how important it is to find a reputable and honest mechanic to keep the fleet up and running. Edd And his team keep me in the air. I highly recommend them to anybody in Southwest Florida that is in need of maintenance for their aircraft

We have been using Edd and Switlik Aviation for the past 12 years. Edd and his team have provided us with absolutely perfect service the entire 12 years and that is amazing considering how much work he has done for us. Edd is upfront and honest. He doesn't cut corners or make promises he doesn't intend to keep. Those traits and values are what makes him such a reliable and trusted vendor of Paragon's. If he says it's going to be done by a certain day and time, I am 100% confident it will be on time completed perfectly every time. Some people have said that his pricing is high but I can tell you first hand that his pricing is fair and inline with the professionals in the industry. If your comfortable with a wrench-jockey doing your annual out of the trunk of his Buick for $500, then Switlik is not for you. If you want a thorough, honest, uncompromised quality repair or annual done on your aircraft, Switlik is the shop. The team over there is literally part of a handful of mechanics I would ever trust my aircraft, client's and family's safety with.

My Bonanza V35 (N461A) arrived at Ft Myers with a big hole in the left exhaust manifold. My wife and our friends were vacationing in Sanibel for the week and figured we'd need to find another way home while repairs were being done. The owner of Switlik Aviation, Mr. Edd Switlik, put his team on the problem. They found a replacement manifold, flew it to Page Field, installed the replacement, repaired the paint damage on my cowling, and tested it with a day to spare before we returned on our 5+ hour flight! What's more, the price was more than fair, especially considering we were not regular customers at that location! In my opinion, Switlik is worth traveling to reach if you have an issue in the Naples, Venice, Fort Myers area!

While trying to depart for a long flight to get home, my aircraft failed a MAG check. I taxied over to Switlik to see if they had a chance to check out the issue. I spoke to Edd and his Guys about the failed mag check and they immediately took a look at my engine. With a clear process and encyclopedic knowledge of aircraft systems they were able to diagnose the fact that I had actually two issues, a miss wired tac lead/engine monitor that was also masking a totally failed right mag. ( in 15 min by the way). Long story short they were able to repair the mag, reinstall it, and return the aircraft in a few hours! Saved the day! I am thoroughly impressed with their professionalism, knowledge, care and process. Absolutely happy and very grateful for their service! Thanks again Edd and co!

I’m a first time airplane owner so I’m using Switlik as my Maintenance shop, both times they have treated me super nice , did Mags and an oil change and both times they got me in within 2 days. Any questions I’ve asked Ed took the time to answer, very pleased.
