Thank you for the recent work done on the boat, and I hope to come back soon for other work. For the audience, I bought a used boat that was sitting around for a number of years. It fired up, but needed parts replaced as the rust wore in. Tanglewood did a good job fixing what was needed, and were willing to discuss hard topics along the way. The boat ran well that night despite other fixes needed. Thank you again, and I recommend this shop to other

Tanglewood took care of me. Need transom repairs, which is a bummer of a repair. But they were communicative. Sent photos. Answered questions. And while there’s things I would have rather done with my money, I was grateful to have someone I trusted doing the work. Will continue to be the place I take my boat. Thank you.

Excellent service. Prompt and honest communication throughout the process. I highly recommend Tanglewood Marine! Joe explained he had a backlog and asked that I wait 2 weeks to bring my boat in for gimbal bearing replacement, and he would get to it. I waited, then brought it in and he got right to it. I received photos and videos on the work as it was being done. Boat is running great, and I was able to take my grandson out on the lake the day I promised. Thank you Joe!

I've had boats serviced at several places in Illinois and Wisconsin. Tanglewood has by far provided me with the best service experience in all of my years. Joe and Willie are very knowledgeable, honest, and professional. On top of it they're sociable and make you feel like family. Everyone that I encountered from the girl at the front desk to other workers in the shop were very nice. They have a very comfortable atmosphere at Tanglewood Maine. Joe and his team did an excellent job completing the work I needed done on my boat. The work was done fast and at a good price. I will definitely encourage friends and family members to visit Tanglewood for all of their boating needs.

I would like to thank Joe and his guys for getting a 40 year old boat that wasn’t used for 15 years to its glory days. I called multiple marine shops and all of them said that they don’t work on boats older than 20 years and that I should just scrape it. I called Joe and he didn’t even hesitate he said bring it in. Since the day that I dropped the boat off he has been very detailed and honest on what needs to be done and why. He sent me pictures and videos as the work was performed. Tanglewood Marine is definitely the place where I'll be taking my boat for all of the maintenance and repair needs. Joe also gave me 2 local places to get the boat painted and have the seats reupholstered. Tanglewood Marine is honest and they don't try to up sell you things that you don't need. I will recommend Tanglewood Marine to everyone that has a boat.
