Honesty, integrity, and directness live at Thoroughbred. I recently have been working with Joe Ott, one of the owners of Thoroughbred and it has been an education and enjoyable. I say "enjoyable" because we did have a miscommunication about pricing, but, he was always forthright, direct, and above all, honest and professional. In the end, it is my intention to work with this company in the future on whatever helicopter I purchase or have maintained. I say this as an aviation attorney and a disappointed potential buyer of one of his helicopters. In closing, let me also add, Jack Harris is head of sales, as he is a twin to Joe when reflecting upon honesty, integrity, and professionalism.

My family has been based in KLEX since 1970. Thoroughbred Aviation has been the most organized and responsive maintenance facility on the airport. Joe, Robbie and team are a wonderful asset to the airport and its been nice to see them continually growing.

I selected Thoroughbred to perform a pre-purchase inspection of a plane. As an A&P, I was very impressed with the detailed examination. Sam and his crew did a nice job!

Quality people and quality work. Joe, Jaret, Dan, Ben and all the crew at Thoroughbred Aviation in LEX, are top shelf. Highly recommend Thoroughbred for any or all helicopter maintenance. They certainly care about each and every customer, no matter the type of airframe you operate. And the Lexington area is certainly a nice place to visit as well.

Robbie and his team at Thoroughbred did a massive Garmin avionics upgrade on our 1980 Piper Saratoga. The work turned out great and their entire team of staff was professional and hard working. We would happily use them again!
