Born and raised here in Corpus Christi Texas, I have seen many marine mechanic shops come and go. I was previously living in Hawaii, but needed to come back home to help with family and felt compelled to buy a boat to go out fishing with my father who is getting up in the years!! The boat we purchased needed some work. So I did some research and asked around the local fishing company. Everyone i spoke with recommended Thurman Marine. From the first conversation I had with Ryan the owner I knew that I made the right choice. Being a mariner myself. 100 ton USCG Captain and owner of many types of boats from Sail boats to Commercial Diving boats. Talking with Ryan his expertise and professionalism was very much appreciated. His whole staff is very concerned about your safety and also the quality of parts that there mechanics use on the motors that the shop works on. Not only motor repair, but repower on inboards and outboards, electronic installation and much more. Thank you Thurman Marine for a job well done. The Tucker family greatly appreciates you and your team!!

These guys are great. Spoke with Ryan about a communication issue between twin Tohatsu Motors and Simrad Electronics. Since I was coming from out of town, I was able to schedule with him a time to bring the boat in and have them work on it while I waited. They were extremely helpful and were able to fix the issue with some programming that wasn't done at another shop when the motors were installed. Ryan walked me through the process and with a little help from Tech support everything started working like it should. Would definitely recommend them to anyone and will be using them for service and repairs in the future.

Great experience with this boat repair shop. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the repairs clearly. What made this experience stand out was the attention to detail they made sure everything was thoroughly checked and done right. The service was professional from start to finish, and my boat came back running perfectly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for reliable and honest boat service.
