30 minute helicopter tour was great. Everything was easy; reservation, payment, flight. Grant was the pilot, he explained every detail along the way. Worth the experience. I’ve never flown in a helicopter and don’t like flight but tolerated it fairly well.

Surprising my wife with a helicopter ride was a fantastic idea! Great pilot, Grant. Was awesome to talk to and a great pilot. Had some rain on the way and Grant handled it great! Very fun time. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing experience today with vortex helicopter services! Grant was our pilot & he was awesome! This was my first time in a helicopter and Grant took the time to explain each step of the flying process to make me feel safe. He explained everything in the air as well! We got a beautiful tour of the city and really enjoyed our time!

We had the best flight with Grant yesterday! Flying back into PIT is always my favorite when we fly over the city but being in the city like were were yesterday was a whole new experience. We even got to see an giraffe & elephant during our fly over the zoo. We hope to book a sunset tour in the future!

I had the most awesome experience with Vortex Helicopter on Sunday, September 14, 2025. Booking the flight was the easiest thing I've done online these days. On their website the calendar and times pop up immediately! I was able to book the flight just the day before! Seamless! Upon arrival I was met by 2 lovely ladies that were very friendly and I paid for the upcoming ride via cell phone and another gadget. The pilot Jarrod (sp) was very friendly and expressed enthusiasm to be taking my friend and I on the flight. He was very knowledgeable and it was a perfect sunset that evening! The flight was smooth and it was a perfect birthday gift for a dear friend that I've known a long time! I love to share these experiences! I Highly recommend Vortex Helicopters if you're looking for "something different" to do or give as a gift! You will not be disappointed! Happy flying!
