This is a thank you for TIM over at apex at north Las Vegas airport. Been using him for 2 years now and this is over due. I have an old beech musketeer that needs little extra attention and at times is unique work that is required. Either way, he’s always there and quick to respond to calls or texts. Flew into Henderson with a weak left brake pedal on the long trip home from Oshkosh to Canada. Other repair station wanted to charge AOG + diagnostics, on advice of my personal AME/A&P decided to give Apex a call. Jose was fantastic and just a couple hours the plane was good to go again and they helped me out with the pricing. Shame to see them downsizing in Henderson, they really helped me out and losing such great people is a loss to the local aviation scene.

I am a Medevac helicopter pilot and I accidentally tore the communication wires in my flight helmet out of my mic boom during a helmet inspection. I needed it fixed asap and no one in town could help me, especially with so many business being shut down. I called Apex as a "Hail Mary", since this type of service is not in their business model. Raeann was incredibly helpful and connected me with Manager Jose who had his Avionics Tech Stephen help me out. Stephen got my flight helmet fixed that very same day and I was back on duty the next night. Thanks again so much to Raeann, Jose and Stephen.

Didn't properly leak check when replacing vacuum pump. I took off into desert and ran out of oil. Though these seemed to be decent people, after a mistake that nearly cost my life, after the fact they have done anything and everything to prevent my airplane being fixed because their insurance company is unwilling to pay the whole loss. Stay away, they may kill you.
