I brought them my aircraft (C-172M) in pieces from the paint shop. I provided them with a pretty good start in avionics (new G-5s, a Garmin audio panel, etc). I then paid them to inspect the project and provide a solid bid with then understanding that IT CANNOT GET OUT OF CONTROL price wise. It’s just a 172! We settled on around $40,000 to do the panel, assemble the aircraft, and start the annual. (It was a flying airplane before we took it down for paint so not much was anticipated there). I gave the shop my avionics and a $13,000 deposit. I expected maybe a few months to a year on the outside to get a flying airplane back. We also agreed on $10,000 for a new interior. THREE years later, with absolutely ZERO hint from the shop that things went over budget I got a bill for $138,000! SIX FIGURES more than we agreed upon! I was in shock and nearly abandoned the airplane, which maybe was their intention, who knows? We negotiated that down about ten percent, I came up with financing, and flew out to get the airplane. Now, I have to say this, IT LOOKS AWESOME. They did a great job with the interior but charged me $8000 for EACH SEAT, not to mention tens of thousands for the headliner and plastics. Unreal. I did a brief test flight where the trim was found to be completely mis-rigged and there was a bad fuel leak. The shop fixed those (without charging) and I started my ferry to the east coast on now limited time. Then I found that NONE of the ground based nav’s worked AT ALL in my $140,000 fresh IFR certification. The glide slope still doesn’t work. Every single coaxial cable was loose and I haven’t had the heart to pull out the entire interior to get at the one remaining connection for the glide slope. In short, the shop has TERRIBLE communication and budgeting. I would never take anything to them except the simplest of quick jobs again. I feel used and ripped off big time. Be VERY wary if you chose this shop and if you don’t live in Las Vegas and can’t swing by daily,

Just completed the Pre-Buy on a Mooney I made an offer on. James Horton and his team are extremely professional and very Knowledgeable about Mooney aircraft. Including the one I'm buying, he had four Mooney's of different models in his shop and three waiting to get in. They found about five items that needed to be repaired before I would accept the aircraft and the current owner is taking care of those issues this week. It was a sincere pleasure working with James and his son on the pre buy of my new airplane. Thank you James and if I'm ever out that way with my Mooney E model and need service I will absolutely stop in. Thank you very much for the extremely positive experience.

They gave an estimate on my company's aircraft off $12,000 for an Annual inspection. 7 Months ago they gave us a final bill of $35,000 AND the aircraft still would not start. They will sit on your aircraft and claim that it is a "Labor cost." They then held our aircraft hostage until they received every penny they billed us for. They have also been responsible for a radio failure I once encountered in a different aircraft. If you value your aircraft and don't like getting TOTALLY ripped off, avoid these guys at all costs. For those thinking about going with Lone Mountain Aviation, that company is just as bad

James and Company removed an old ADF, Loran and DME and my old transponder from my Bonanza. Installed a AirGizmo mount for my Garmin 796 along with a new ADS-B transponder. Beautiful work and all works beautifully.
In the order Google returned them. Not verified by MobileDetailing.io.
