  I worked with Bay Marine on the sale of my boat. The experience was fantastic. I had tried other brokers and they all seemed disinterested ($50k boat, so maybe too low to be worthwhile for some?). I listed with Bay Marine / Josh Erickson and he had multiple interest and offers within days! Josh kept me in contact at every step. I'm very impressed and highly recommend.

  Former owner of both Sales/Service was just great. Then, a couple of years ago, the owner sold the Service Side of the business to Topside. Ever since the sale, personnel turnover on the Service side has been constant, no continuity, no one seems to know the boat (2014 Back Cove 34) or what to do when issues arise. E.G., I wanted a simple solution to provide shade from the hot sun on the port side of my boat. The Service Side of Bay Marine quoted me $2200 for custom shades that would be “outsourced”. Ridiculous, IMHO. I went online to Amazon and found nautical curtains and adhesive “picture holders” that provided a perfect solution. Total cost was about $22; and I only used half of what I purchased for that amount. So, I have concerns with the Service Side of Bay Marine, since the sale of that side of the business. The Sales side seems just fine, though.
