Boat Works of South Windsor, Inc

We just started using Boat Works for maintenance of our boat and we’ve been really happy with their professionalism, the service quality, and the fair pricing. Our first experience with them was over the summer when we had engine problems during a July 4th picnic. They were able to look at the boat right away and determined we needed a new engine (ours was 20 years old). They were able to acquire a new engine and install it within a few weeks which saved our boating season, which is pretty short in the Northeast.

The worst experience a person can have with a service company! I do not recommend it to anyone! Very sad with Mr. Steven! It was a displeasure to have entrusted my boat to this person! My boat was there for 6 months and they managed to leave it worse than it was and my family and I still lost a summer and the boat was not fixed and they charged me an absurd amount! In short, I have a boat at home that does not work and less 2,800 dollars

A very special thanks to Jim from the Boatworks in CT an Alumacraft dealer... they were very helpful in getting all my wiring corrected and Jim while on vacation spent a couple of hours solving a problem with my live well switch. They definitely show what customer service is all about. I think he was really impressed with what I had done with the Alumacraft i bought last year. Next project is to get the inside lights set up like he did in his boat. I will be discussing that with him soon. Jim went above and beyond helping me with the wiring issue and also with some accessory ideas to make my boat that much better. I especially loved his comment when I first met him... "Now that's a fishing boat for sure" Not many individuals would take time while on their vacation to help a customer but Jim did and although there is an Alumacraft dealer much closer to me, Boatworks now has a customer for anything else i need.
