  I don’t like leaving negative reviews. But this one was an expensive lesson learned. Read the reviews. No communication from when I left the boat there in September as he said he was backed up. I called in November to hear he still hadn’t worked on boat because of various issues. I said no problem. A week later I get a call and was told it was going to be almost $2k for work he had done and another $1k for additional repair needed. I told him I would have to think about that because I hadn’t had any of these issues previously. That was on Thursday. He texted me on Saturday and said I had to make a decision or he was going to start charging me $30 a day. He said the boat was running and now needed steering fixed. I just said no I would pick the boat up on Monday. After picking up the boat from said work being performed I immediately took it to another mechanic and had them look at it. It didn’t even run without stopping. I knew I had been overcharged and showed the new mechanic what I had been charged and worked supposedly performed. They felt bad for me but at this point I had to move forward.

  This man is an absolute crook. I never leave reviews, but this was ridiculous. My husband took his boat for a service. He called to check on the boat and the owner mentioned he is only working 2 hours per day. We stopped by on Saturday to pick up the boat because we felt uneasy about the situation. At this point he tells us he ordered a part even though he never looked at the boat and we would have to pay for that. We gave him a $500 deposit and he said he couldn't refund the rest until Monday. My husband went to pick up the boat on Monday and the man charged him $330 for a $260 part. He also charged him $150 diagnostic fee after he told us he never looked at the boat. He made sure he didn't have to give a dollar back. He was also rude, nasty, and cursing at my husband. Don't ever take your boat to this man!
