Had a brake issue with my 172 and within 15 mins of calling Golden State 4 maintenance guys came over to look at it. Cesar, the floor supervisor gave me daily updates, which I greatly appreciated. When I went over to the shop, Cesar made it a point to show and explain in detail what the issue was. They took great care of girl while she was in the shop. Edgar the Director of Maintenance was fantastic to work with. I highly recommend getting all your aircraft maintenance needs at Golden State. While on my work contract, I will bring business to them! All the guys at Golden State are top notch!!

Ended up AOG at KBFL while bringing a Bonanza home from South Carolina. We were parked at Loyd's and their maintenance department couldn't be bothered to even look at our situation or refer out. The folks at Golden State had empathy, jumped on our case, had the obscure broken part on hand, and got us going before lunchtime. Fantastic folks, and while they have a spotless facility filled with impressive machines -- they made time for our little Bonanza too. Definite friends of Aviation! Thank you all!

I experienced a maintenance issue with my C340a while traveling through KBFL in June 2021 and happened to spot Golden State Aviation Services across the taxi way from Atlantic FBO. I could not have been more pleased with the people and service! Dave and his team provide excellent services at fair prices. I Highly recommended this shop to anyone at or near the Bakersfield area.

I took the company MU-2 to Dave Smutny at GSAM in Bakersfield yesterday, picked it up today. Edgar replaced the boost pump with the new (overhauled) one I supplied. Went out of the way to accommodate me as my home airport was going to close for a week and I have recurrent training the following week. Did a great job, reasonable charges, had it fueled by Epic (CAA) and ready to go when I got there. Worked out great. Outstanding work and quick service. Highly recommend.

Super awesome group of people. I got a puncture on my nose-wheel when I flew in. I had a tug take me from the runway to Golden State. The guys there took care of me right away and I was able to leave after lunch. Thank you Golden State Aircraft Maintenance.
