I-90 Marine Center

Purchased a new Mercury 115/80 outboard jet through Casey at I-90 Marine and had an overall good experience. Casey was very helpful in modifying the crate to fit within my limited bed space and is overall a friendly/personable character to interact with. He spent ample time with me on the phone prior to pickup answering numerous questions pertaining to warranty, specs, crate dimensions and pickup times. Overall, I would recommend purchasing a new motor here.

We first learned of I-90 Marine Center when Casey helped us out with very little notice before a planned trip. After that initial fix, he's worked on scheduled maintenance. In both instances, he is very responsive, communicative, and thorough. He is mobile throughout the Seattle region, and carefully talks us through the work he has done and any adjustments he recommends. I-90 Marine Center are great to work with and I highly recommend them!

If you own a boat Casey is the guy to know. We have a boat that started having problems 2 years ago. Within a month the generator stopped working, then the port engine and then the starboard engine even the blower. I had a Crusader dealer in Seattle come over and work on it. They spent hours trying to figure it out. They even sent my ECUs back to Crusader. Turns out it was the boats fire suppression system that had failed. That dealer then handed me a bill for $6000.00. It seemed to me that if it was just the halon system they should have found it sooner than $6000.00 of exploratory diagnostics. I told the owner they should have diagnosed the simple problem sooner, since Halon's role is to shut down all fuel, air, and ignition systems. The owner then lied to me and swore that they usually work on diesels and that a diesel motor will always run back to shore as a "safety issue". Didn't sound right so I called Halon. They told me that wasn't true and that dealer is either incompetent or deliberately misleading me. So, I paid him the $6000 he insisted was fair. Not to mention I had to pay an additional $2000 to have the Halon replaced. That was about a year and a half ago. Even after repairing the halon system, my starboard engine still had problems. The fuel injection system would not work. I looked around and called pretty much all the repair shops in the Seattle area and no one wanted to work on a gas powered boat. I even went to the boat show to find anyone that could help. I eventually found a reputable outfit in Olympia that could fix it (if I brought it to Olympia. No mobile repair at any price. This is a 41-foot boat. Desperate, I called the owner of Crusader dealer and asked him if could try to fix it. He said he call me back. He didn’t.
