My dad and I recently purchased a boat from KC Boat Doctor and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. We got an incredible deal on a boat that came fully loaded with all the bells and whistles. Caden went above and beyond to take care of us throughout the process. He was incredibly flexible, working around our schedule without any hassle. He even brought the boat by our house to make sure it would fit in our garage before we committed—talk about customer service! Communication was excellent from start to finish. Caden was always quick to respond to any questions or requests we had, and his friendly, professional approach made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. If you’re in the market for a boat, I highly recommend KC Boat Doctor. Great inventory, fair prices, and service that truly stands out. We’ll definitely be back for any future boating needs!

I have a 2002 four winns Vista 268 cabin cruiser. One day after being anchored for several hours the boat would not start. It was Memorial Day weekend. The week before I started getting a knock at about 3,000 rpm. I was hoping to get through the weekend before taking the boat off. A Guy on my dock recommended Darren at KC Boat Doctor. After taking it down to them I got the call a few weeks later. Cylinders 6 and 8 had no compression. I could rebuild the engine or for 3 times the price put a new engine in. Darren took his time and answered all my questions. The best advice he gave me was if you like the boat and are going to keep it, get a new engine. He seemed to know I wasn’t expecting this and told me to think about it for a day. I decided to go with the new engine. It was the week before the fourth of July and Darren told me on a Tuesday, we will have done for you Friday. I had a small list of other things I wanted fixed. I added getting the stereo replaced. They got all done with perfection. I left Friday afternoon and as soon as I got home Darren called and said they forgot a small part and they came out to my home Saturday morning and gave it to me. Darren his son and the rest of the crew represent how every business should operate.

Had a great experience. Got my boat fixed and back on the water in a timely manner. Darren even talked me through a problem I was having over the phone while I was on the water. Will be coming here for future service.

This shop, staff and employees are Amazing! Caden and Darin are the standard of what a boat sales and mechanic shop should be. They have went above and beyond since my boat purchase. I hope to never be forced to deal with ANY other establishment!

I live in Lawrence KS. I use to go to another boat repair in Lawrence for over 36 years. Never again! KC Boat Doctor is professional and their quality of work is superior in every way. Its well worth the drive and their prices are below what my mechanic of 35 years charged me in Lawrence. Darren the owner, runs his business like he really cares about every boat and every customer that comes through his doors. When I picked up the boat he knew everything about my boat as if he had done the work himself. Darren even noticed that the manifold drain plugs had begun to show serious wear and he installed a device to replace the plug and at his expense! Who ever had a boat repair dealer do that??? Darren I could not have been more pleased and I applaud you for your superior customer service and please thank all the guys for a job well done.
