I strongly advise fellow passengers and pilots to avoid this facility. The ground crew demonstrates a consistent lack of professionalism, resulting in frequent 'hangar rash,' dents, and scratches. More alarmingly, the equipment is either poorly maintained or flat out ignored —specifically the Fuel trucks, which operate with little to no braking power on Michigan’s second busiest runway. Between the safety hazards and the staff's unprofessional habit of judging clients' personal beliefs behind their backs, this FBO is an aviation incident waiting to happen as I’ve witnessed multiple red flags that warrant a formal FAA inquiry.

The AHRS went out on my Cessna Tuesday night while out flying. I’m suppose to fly to Oshkosh on Thursday at 7 am. I dropped my plane off Tuesday night at 8 pm and left Ryan a message and a please help. He looked at my plane the next morning and called me to say it was all set by lunchtime. Thank You, Thank you Ryan. You saved my trip to Oshkosh. Always excellent service.

Michigan Aviation (Jim Horner and team) conducted the Aspen Pro Max upgrade and IFR certification on my 1977 Piper Archer II. Jim displayed patience and tenacity in making sure the job got completed correctly. There was a lot of different systems, remote modules and, as usual, unexpected developments. The team worked with my schedule in getting the plane in and out when needed. Jim also made a personal effort to get assistance when an unrelated data card failure occurred. Their service has raised my confidence in considering Michigan Aviation to overhaul the engine when required.
