Booked one of the Introductory flights as a birthday gift for my daughter. I was able to tag along in the backseat. They give you the option of which direction you'd like to fly to, towards the city to or east towards Riverhead. The route east let's the student get a bit more hands on the controls. It was awesome seeing Long Island from a different pov. Staff was a professional and courteous all around. Our Instructor pilot Cary was very knowledgeable of flying and the aircraft we were in.

I can't recommend Nassau Flyers Flight School highly enough! From day one, the professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to safety have been outstanding. The entire operation is run with excellence, and it's clear that safety is always the top priority. A huge thank you to Gabby and Joe, who are both incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, and patient instructors. They have a true talent for teaching, making every lesson both enjoyable and confidence-building. Their ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, practical way has made me a better and safer pilot. Another thing that really sets Nassau Flyers apart is the exceptional maintenance of their Cirrus aircraft. The airplanes are meticulously cared for, clean, modern, and always in top condition, giving students peace of mind every time they fly. If you're looking for a flight school that combines outstanding instruction, an unwavering commitment to safety, and a first-class fleet, Nassau Flyers is the place to be. I couldn't be happier with my experience and would recommend them to anyone looking to earn their wings!

We had the chance to do two Discovery Flights over Manhattan with Nassau Flyers, and it was an incredible experience. Our instructor, Bill, gave us a thorough introduction to the aircraft (Cirrus SR20) and clearly explained the basics of flying. During the flight, we enjoyed spectacular views of Lower Manhattan, which made the experience even more unforgettable. Special mention goes to the customer service – the ladies at the reception were extremely kind, professional, and helpful. Everything was well organized and handled with a warm, welcoming attitude. I would definitely recommend Nassau Flyers to anyone who wants to experience flying and create lasting memories.

Nassau Flyers is the top Cirrus center that I have encountered. I've been partnered as a student and an owner-lessor for many years and have such appreciation for how they are so reliable, punctual, and well-organized. When I have encountered an unusual problem, such as being stuck in some far-off place and needing mechanical or logistical help - or some pilot-to-pilot advice - they have jumped to with incredible dedication at all hours of the day and night. The staff and crews are remarkably kind, smart and thoughtful. This is an exceptionally well run organization. I highly recommend Nassau Flyers.
