So glad to have this expertise in our area. We were looking to buy a 1997 sailboat that was in overall very good condition, but had one potentially worrying crack in the liner. We knew it could be indicative of greater structural damage, but didn't have the knowledge/tools/etc. to determine this. So, we arrived at 11:30 a.m. on a Saturday (S & R closes at noon on Saturdays), and John was more than willing to drop what he was doing and look at our boat, 30 minutes before closing...on a beautiful Saturday... I instantly noticed (and was comforted by) his obvious understanding of and passion for boats (he builds his own, in addition to servicing others'). He told us he thought the fix was superficial and would be at most $200. He also took the time to talk about a worst-case scenario, how he would find out if it existed, and what it would cost (much, much more - maybe thousands). All very matter-of-fact - not pushy. Turned out it was the smallest possible problem, and John charged us $150. I was thankful for his expertise and honesty. In this business, people could easily pull the wool over your eyes, speak condescendingly to you, etc., but that was not the case here. Work was done in a week and looked great. I hope they stay in business as long as we have sailboats because I don't want to look elsewhere for service like this! We live in the Green Bay area, but will happily drive to Pewaukee to visit S & R Marine. Thank you for your great work!

John was great to work with. His company did a first rate repair to my watercraft. John took the time to go over the boat and explained what needed to be done, I appreciate their knowledge and skill. I would definitely use S & R Marine again. Great Job!

John & Rich are top notch! They take time to explain things, don’t talk down to their customers, provide outstanding quality workmanship and are just generally really good guys - I highly recommend them!!!
