Santa Monica Flyers is the best flight school on the west coast hands down. Nestled in the corner of the historic airport, the school features dozens of airplanes to choose from, unlimited snacks, as well as the best instructors on this side of the Mississippi. Hannah at the front desk is one of the kindest people you will meet, and Danny the Flight School manager is on top of his game keeping all the airplanes fun and safe to fly. This is the #1 spot to be when your ready to become a pilot.

I started with a discovery flight and am now about 20 hours into my Private Pilot License journey with Santa Monica Flyers. I’ve had a great experience so far. My instructor, Brandon, is knowledgeable and does an excellent job of building both skills and confidence in the cockpit. The entire team is friendly, professional, and very responsive, making scheduling and communication easy. Every lesson has been well organized and productive, and I’ve consistently felt supported throughout the process. I’d highly recommend Santa Monica Flyers to anyone considering flight training.

It seems like a great place for aspiring pilots to learn and work toward their aviation goals.

I had an intro flight in November, and it was truly an unforgettable and impressive experience. Although my flight was almost canceled in the morning due to bad weather, I was from overseas, so rescheduling for another day was nearly impossible. Thanks to the kind staff’s help, I was able to take advantage of a break in the weather to make my dream come true. Also special thanks to my instructor, Brandon, provided an excellent pre-flight briefing and allowed me to maneuver the plane for a while. It was an absolutely stunning and memorable experience that I will cherish for!!
