Santa Monica Propeller

Santa Monica prop does not have a repair station certificate, it was surrendered to the FAA after they failed inspection. They're just acting as a broker now. Save your money and go somewhere else

On behalf of the University and the students I want to thank the employees at Santa Monica Propeller for their warm welcome and guided tour. Special thank you to Stacey for arranging the tour. Another successful and informative tour provided by Philip. Philip is very knowledgeable on propellers and shared that knowledge with the students. Jaime shared his knowledge of NDI procedures with the students. His demonstration was appreciated by everyone. I have received nothing but positive comments from the students about the information that was provided by Philip and Jaime. All of the employees are very knowledgeable on their jobs and shared that knowledge with the students. Very professional and courteous team. Comments from the students included how organized and clean the work shop is maintained. They liked the green plants that are in the work area. Santa Monica Propeller employees are the best at performing their jobs. Highly recommend them to any one needing propeller servicing. I look forward to the next tour.

While studying aviation maintenance, the great people at Santa Monica Propeller welcomed our class inside to meet the skilled technicians and even allowed us to see the technical and precise work that goes into overhaul and repair of aircraft propellers. We observed the precision measurements of propeller blade angle, the track and balance process of fixed blade propellers and even the non-destructive inspection of parts to ensure structural integrity. The staff is highly skilled and professional. The work areas are spotless and organized for safety purposes. This group of technicians are passionate and proud of the work and the service they provide. It was an awesome experience!
