  I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Smith Marine. A boat originating from this dealership was represented as being in “good condition,” including the hull. That turned out to be completely inaccurate. After pickup, a major delamination issue was discovered along the bottom of the hull between the bunks, with missing gel coat and compromised fiberglass. This is not minor wear—it’s a serious structural problem that requires thousands of dollars to repair. This isn’t something subtle or easy to miss. It’s the kind of damage a marine dealership should immediately recognize. Failing to disclose it—while describing the hull as “good”—is, at best, careless and, at worst, intentionally misleading. When the issue was raised, there was no accountability and no effort to make it right. If this is the standard for how equipment is evaluated and represented, buyers should be extremely cautious. Do not rely on descriptions—inspect everything yourself or be prepared for a very expensive surprise.

  Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had they beat around the bush about the trip pump in a 2007 stingray Volvo saying “they didn’t know where it was” but it’s 2026 come on now, and i brought it in amazing condition clean to a pin and I got it back like it has sat out for a while in the weather which it did! After they lied and said it was “under cover” I do not recommend ever taking your boat here unless you absolutely don’t care about it, the only good thing that came out of my experience was the view of the lake behind the horrible business that I chose to take boat to just to get it back in well worse shape and out $350! Also not to mention them dragging the foot of the boat in the mud!! I was not a happy person when I saw it least to say.
