First time we’ve used South Bay Marina. We had a wonderful time. All amenities are accurately described.The employee was great and super knowledgeable. Explained everything well and had great customer service. Excited to use them again soon!

We had a wonderful experience renting a boat on Irondequoit Bay today! The entire family had a blast exploring the waters and taking in the beautiful scenery. The rental process was smooth and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a fun day on the water. The boat was clean, well-maintained, and easy to operate, making it perfect for our family outing. We enjoyed cruising around, fishing and even spotted some wildlife along the way! Overall, it was a fantastic day filled with laughter and unforgettable memories. We highly recommend South Bay Marina to anyone looking for a fun family adventure. We can't wait to come back and do it again!

Above and Beyond expectations. Absolutely amazing, attentive and caring service with an exceptional team. When boat work is completed ahead of schedule and below estimated costs its nothing short of miraculous. Trusted business and definitely recommend! ⚓️

Do NOT rent from South Bay Marina on Seneca Lake in NY. Before leaving on the rental, they told us they would keep us updated on bad weather. During our one ride we spoke with an owner of another rental place, and they said they would never let their renters out on the lake today (Would have been nice to know). Was told the boat we took out always comes back with damages on it. Turns out the damages are always more than the cost of the rental (Convenient way for them to make money). Everyone was super nice until I asked for a more detailed cost of the damages. Then all the sudden their moods switched, and they got a little defensive (Wonder why?). I am 100% comfortable with paying for damage done to the boat. However, they set us up for failure. If we didn't drive the boat, we would have been out the money already paid for the rental, and we drove the boat and now we are out double the money paid for the rental. This was our third year in a row renting a boat and there were never any issues or damages. Thanks South Bay Marina - for ruining a once amazing experience on Seneca Lake!

We rented a pontoon for the day from the Showboat motel location since we were staying there for two nights. Ashley was amazing explaining everything and getting us out on the water for the day! The pontoon was very roomy and spotless. Perfect for a day out with our family! We highly recommend renting from them and hope to return again in the future! Thank you!
