Boom. Above and beyond. Bellingham Marine Repair (Clark & Co) re-powered/overhauled my twin engine towing/rescue vessel recently. A twin engine re-power process is dynamic throughout the process (meaning a complicated pain) and thus requires extraordinary patience and knowledge. Clark was patient, adaptable to how I wanted to approach the process, timely in getting it done, and the boat now runs better than it has since I've owned it. Was it cheap? Nope. It's a boat and boat things are expensive. Full stop. Was Clark fair with the cost? Absolutely fair. Nothing was inflated and what was done, was done well. In the world of boat repair, paying a reasonable cost and getting an exceptional result on the other side is rare. Example: I had an access cover that had a series of attaching screws that over the years had ended up being various sizes. When re-assembling it, the tech took the time to rectify that so that all the attaching screws were the same size and style. That's marine level work, and that's priceless.
