I brought an outboard tilt trim motor in for a rebuild. I was told on the phone that they could do it and stocked the parts. I was given grief for cutting off the wiring connectors at the end of the harness. I told the guy I wasn't able to pull them through the motor housing. He proceeded to tell me it will come with new wires and connectors anyway, but lectured me (twice) that you don't have to cut them off. I get it man, OK. I'm not a mechanic. You are. That's why I'm here. Please just be nice. I'm only looking for a mutually beneficial business transaction carried out with courtesy. Nothing more. Edit: you clearly didn't understand the point of my review. Cutting the wires is irrelevant for removing a unit for rebuild. They will come with new wires, and yes, upon reinstall, they should not be cut. The point of the review is please just Be Nice. You were very nice on the phone. The guy at the front desk was condescending and disrespectful. While I appreciate your response to my review, stands at two stars because you seem to want to take zero responsibility for your business side of this poor interaction. Not even an apology. Good luck.

Don’t waste a minute of our short summers in the PNW…. Big Dave can fix whatever problem your engine has! We’ve had repairs done there; fair & reasonable and done right the first time. We just had our boat winterized again this year and we know she’ll be ready to go next spring. 5Star+

Took my boat to Big Dave to have my 2 stroke outboard worked on. Told him what it was doing. And within 3 days had it up and running. And was very reasonable on price. I recommend him to all my friends that need there boats serviced. Thanks Dave.

Big Dave is such a great guy to buy a motor from. It had a small adjustment that needed to be done to get it to run right three weeks after I purchased he took care of it at no charge. I highly recommend.
