I fully agree w/ recent reviewer. And also rarely do reviews "but compelled to". Chris at Dockside marine is the epitome of customer svc. Examples are point on advice that was right, and gave scientists level hints on what to expect in doing the repair myself. Chris gave me the exact parts I needed-no cross-reference mistakes on a 1996 engine w/ a plethora of guesses on the right part. One of many experiences where your listening to someone who simply knows what he's talking about. Thank you Dockside Marine Chris!

Well thought we would have gotten a better price on work perfomed verses the work that was done for trade off. That was the deal but looked one-sided to me.

I have never posted a google review before. This will be my first and likely my last. I have owned boats for over 30 years. Over the last decade plus, I have taken a variety of boats and related motors to Dockside Marine for inspection, service and repair. The team there does excellent work. They are highly trained, reliable, honest and fair. Chris, in particular, has invested considerable time with me when I have faced motor issues. He thoroughly explains the details of any diagnosis, his recommendations, his estimates and any perceived risks of possible alternatives. Moreover, he has educated me on a variety of known strengths and challenges with particular motor brands/models that I have owned or considered purchasing over the years. He has gone as far as suggesting specific & generally uncommon preventative actions (that I can do myself) that I should consider taking to extend the life of my motors. I have learned over the years that this level of honesty and commitment to client service is rather unique in the marine industry. I am a very satisfied customer and will take my motors no where else. I recommend, from experience, that you do the same.
