Very Knowledgeable I was having problems getting updates on some new equipment I purchased so I came out to Maxxum Marine and had the joy of talking with Jum Hicks, he took the time to explain to me and help me get all the updates set up, he was very patient and knowledgeable, this guy really knows what he is doing. This was quite a lengthy process, and he took all the time needed to get these updates done and done correctly. I you need it done wright he's your guy

Jim Hicks was patient knowledgeable and helped me and my brother Benson buy two boats. We didn’t set out to buy two but the pricing was outstanding after the sale. Jim helped in the accessories and was always there for me. Thank you, Jim!

Better bring a BIG JOB with BIG $$ if you want ANY attention Don't come here for warranty work or for Mercury products - they won't help you. Over 3 weeks to diagnose an outboard with no solution. I recommend you go to a "preferred dealer" in Portland because this shop won't even call Mercury for help. Preferred dealer in Portland diagnosed and fixed a problem in mere hours when Maxxum techs couldn't find the problem in weeks. Techs solution was to "run the motor until something breaks and then replace the broken part." I called Mercury and they said, "These guys are full of s***, go get your boat and take it to another dealer". Save yourself gas money, stress, and happiness and just take your boat to another shop.

I was having issues with my motor starving for fuel, I ended calling my sales guy Josh he told me to bring it down on the weekend. They had the issues fixed within a couple hours and I was back on my way home. They have great customer service and great techs. Thanks Josh and Lloyd for the quick turnaround around and being able to get back on the water!!
