BJ the boat doc squeezed us in after another boat mechanic screwed our boat up (we had to be towed off the lake). This guy knows his stuff, it’s no wonder why he’s busy. Thanks to him, a trip we were on the verge of having to cancel with our boat was saved…and we had a great time, we have BJ to thank for that. This is the only place I’ll trust with anything mechanical regarding our boat.

BJ and his daughter are for sure the nicest, friendliest boat mechanics in the area. I called all other mechanics and only BJ and his daughter offered to look at my outboard and helped me troubleshoot...FOR FREE! I was insistent they let me pay them for their precious time and he refused since he only spent about 20 min with me. But I learned more from him in those 20 min than I ever have with others, he took the time to show me how to properly run my engine. As a new boater, this is invaluable and I will only take my boat to him.

Bj (the owner) took the time to help me troubleshoot my Honda 130 no start issue over the phone. After purchasing a part was willing to help troubleshoot further. There was no need, part fixed it. I highly recommend anyone with boat issues to give the boat dr llc a call they are awesome! Thanks again BJ

Very impressed with them. We had an issue on the water yesterday, called around to see if anyone could see us and get us back on the water. After several “sorry too busy” calls, I got ahold of BJ and he spent five minutes telling me how to fix the issue, and it worked. Pretty cool that he helped me for free, I think that says a lot about him. I’ve never met him but recommend him and will be going to him now for any service.

These guys are awesome! BJ is a very good mechanic and knows his stuff! He has been very helpful to me. Jeremy is great to deal with and if you need boat stereo help he is your guy! To be honest, pulling up to their shop I was wondering what I was getting into because their yard is jam packed full of boats and it is an older place out of business area. I have realized that they really just have a lot of business (and probably can't find good skilled help). I highly recommend these guys, maybe to my own detriment if they get more business from my review! 😉
